            What do the following personnel have in common? The Tragically Hip, Steely Dan, Snoop Dog, James Taylor, Fergie, The Black Crowes, Great Big Sea, and Donna Summer? They, along with many more, will all be performing during the Ottawa Bluesfest from July 3rd to the 13th.

           The Leitrim All Ranks Mess has purchased a pair of daily passes for each and every day of the event. The passes entitle you and a guest to attend every show presented that day. These passes will be raffled off to CFS Leitrim All Ranks Mess members only.

           Here’s how it works. Take a peek at the event’s website at www.ottawabluesfest.ca and see what days are good for you, and which acts you’d like to see. For the cost of $2 per chance, place your name in the hat for each day that you’d like to attend. Enter as often as you wish. Draws will be done a week in advance, and winners announced on the mess website.

         You can enter at the mess bar, or track down your section entertainment rep. AB MacKinnon from Ops Shift 4 and Cpl Van Veen of Satcom will have tickets available as well. But don’t wait for someone to come to you – get your entries in now to better your chances of taking in some great entertainment!
